From Tinkercad to Tabletop: My 3D Printing Adventures with Bambu Lab

I’ve always enjoyed making things, and 3D printing has opened up a whole new world of creative possibilities. My weapon of choice? Tinkercad! It’s incredibly user-friendly, even for beginners like me. I can whip up simple yet practical designs in no time, then bring them to life with my trusty Bambu Lab P1S.

Why Tinkercad?

Tinkercad is perfect for someone like me who appreciates straightforward design tools. It’s browser-based, so no need for hefty software downloads. Plus, the drag-and-drop interface makes it a breeze to learn. I can easily combine basic shapes, adjust sizes, and experiment with different ideas without getting bogged down in complex menus.

My Creations

I love designing things that have a practical use around my home and garden. Here are a couple of my recent projects, which you can find on Cults3D:

Corner HolderEufy S340 : Corner holder for the security camera Eufy S340!

(Big and small size)

Printing with the Bambu Lab P1S

Once my design is ready, it’s time to fire up the Bambu Lab P1S. This printer is a game-changer! It’s fast, reliable, and produces high-quality prints. For outdoor projects, I prefer using PETG filament, and I’ve been really happy with the GEEETECH PETG in various colors. It’s durable, weather-resistant, and prints beautifully on the P1S.

What’s Next?

I’m constantly coming up with new ideas for things to design and print. From custom organizers for my workshop to fun toys for my pets, the possibilities are endless. 3D printing has become my go-to for creating personalized solutions and adding a unique touch to my home.

If you’re interested in getting started with 3D printing, I highly recommend checking out Tinkercad and the Bambu Lab P1S. It’s an incredibly rewarding hobby that allows you to bring your imagination to life! Questions about it? Just ask me !

What print should you buy ?

I tested a lot of 3D printers when I started with this and a lot when back to amazon. But beside the Bambulab P1S this are the printers that are good as well, and a little cheaper if you want to start !

My top 3 would be :

1.QIDI TECH X-PLUS3 3D Printer

2. AnkerMake M5 3D Printer, High Speed Fast FDM 3D Printer
3. Sovol SV08 3D Printer with Camera

But above is just some of the printers that I tested and I liked as well.
