The Biggest Mistake I Made: The Power of Focus Over Spreading Too Thin

For years, I’ve been a whirlwind of projects and passions. If you’ve been following me, you know I’m not one to sit still. My interests—from music and AI to my hobbies and dogs—have always pulled me in different directions, which led me to a simple but profound mistake: I tried to do everything at once.

At one point, I was managing about 250 different websites. I also had countless social media groups. My goal was always to share everything I was passionate about, but the reality was a constant battle against the clock. The sheer time commitment was overwhelming. I was always busy, but never truly able to give my best to any one project. It was a race I couldn’t win, and frankly, I was exhausted.

Now, at 64, I’ve come to a crucial realization: it’s time to slow down. I’ve already reduced my website count to around 70, but my journey isn’t over. I’m actively working to streamline even more, and I plan to sell some of my domain names. If you’re interested in any, please feel free to ask.

My new goal is simple: peace.

Instead of spreading my energy across countless platforms, I’m now channeling it all into one central hub. I will be focusing my efforts entirely on:

  • My website: aebe.nl
  • My YouTube channel: Aebe
  • My Facebook Group: aebenl

By concentrating on these three platforms, I can dedicate my time and energy to creating high-quality, meaningful content. This isn’t about doing less; it’s about doing better.

If there’s one lesson I could share with all of you who might also be juggling too many projects, it’s this: learn from my mistake.

Focus on one point. Give it your full attention. When you concentrate your energy, you can truly get to your goals and achieve the quality you’re looking for. It’s a journey from chaos to calm, and I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all.

Thank you for your continued support. Let’s make something great together.

P.S. will not mean I do not update the youtube channels anymore, I will keep on doing that, but will do more in the future here ! (On Aebe.nl)
